What is the most UNpatriotic thing an area can do on the 4th of July? Take your rights away! Spokane has banned fireworks and threatens you with a 500+ plus dollar fine if you get caught with them in your possession! The news preaches this like a biblical serman. Foget that sparkler that might light up your grandchild's eye! No smuggling any of those goods from Idaho to Airway Heights, Washington. Same thing goes for cigarettes. How dare you buy a carton in Coeur d'Alene or Worley then go over the border to Washington. 

What's going on - is this not America or are we all mini countries now, making laws to raise revenue? Where is the border checkpoint? It's ridiculous. More laws that are meant to put the fear of God in is? It's all akin to the FBI warning on the movie/video CD you rent. Then of all things I heard WalMart was selling fireworks and guess where? SPOKANE!
